The Center for Regional & Tourism Research (CRT), founded in 1994, has a national and international position in socioeconomic development, business development, policymaking and planning with a special focus on rural areas and maritime regions. We create linkages between the theory and the practical, and through new knowledge contribute to the development of research, policy-making and business in rural areas and maritime regions. CRT has a basic grant from the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (VTU) and in addition generates funding from a wide range of external projects carried out by its 18 members of researchers and consultants.
